About

The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) will replace the GED as a high school equivalency in spring 2024. Those who successfully complete the tests will be awarded with a New Brunswick High School Equivalency Diploma. All progress made toward earning a GED will count toward the CAEC until May 2027.

Employment

South East Adult Education – Éducation des adultes du Sud-Est (SEAE-ÉASE) employs full-time, part-time and supply teachers in the classrooms.  Teachers must have a Bachelor of Education degree or a Certificate of Adult Education Certificate. Experience in teaching adults will be an asset. Other qualifications may be considered. The salary follows a provincial scale. SEAE-ÉASE also employs a Manager of Operations, an Assistant Manager of Operations, a Computer Instructor and a GED test administrator.  Digital Instructors must have experience teaching basic computer skills and have a Bachelor of Education or a Certificate of Adult Education.
